Halifax Ultimate

Halifax Ultimate (HU) is the largest and longest running Ultimate organization in Nova Scotia. Originally called the Halifax Ultimate Recreational League (HURL), it started in 1991 with four teams meeting once per week on the Halifax Commons. Since then, the summer league has grown into leagues running on three different nights each week with more than fifty teams and 700 players, with additional leagues running during the Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons.

In addition to league play, Halifax Ultimate hosts an annual indoor 4v4 tournament, C4P, which attracts teams of all skill levels from across the Maritimes. They run several other events, including the Canadian Ultimate Championships in 2006, Summer league playoffs, and an annual gala that started in 2017.
